ISPRS International Workshop
“Photogrammetric and computer vision techniques for
video Surveillance, Biometrics and Biomedicine” – PSBB19
May 13-15, 2019, Moscow, Russia
Photogrammetric and computer vision methods for surveillance, biometrics, biomedical imaging and diagnostics attract growing attention in recent years. Nowadays such interdisciplinary collaboration is an essential point for providing new developments and tools in this area.
The 3rd International Workshop “Photogrammetric and computer vision techniques for video surveillance, biometrics and biomedicine” is intended to offer presentations and discussions of novel achievements in photogrammetric and computer vision researches for analysis of human body/features/behavior/environment both in security/surveillance applications and in biomedical tasks. This workshop is the third in a row after the successful editions in 2015 and 2017. This year PSBB’19 is organized by ISPRS (WG II/5 and WG II/10), State Research Institute of Aviation System (GosNIIAS, Russia), Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU, Russia) and the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK, Russia).
We invite researchers to submit the original contributions, as well as demonstrations of successful applications in accordance with but not limited to the following technical areas:
Joint Session:
This time we include a special session on new photogrammetric and computer vision methods for anthropology in PSBB19 Program. The session is organized in cooperation with Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology RAS as a joint session with International scientific conference «Problems of studying the variability in anthropology. New in a variety of traditional». We invite researchers that worked in the fields of anthropology and paleoanthropology to participate.
Demo Session:
We invite researches from universities, academic institution and industry to present live demonstrations of photogrammetric and machine vision applications to the workshop participants. Demo presentations are not limited to papers accepted to PSBB19. Any demonstration showcasing the effectiveness of computer vision methods are welcome. Industrial demonstrations focused on novel research outcomes are invited.
Demonstrations will be held in parallel with the poster sessions on May, 13-14.
Important dates:
